Letter from landlord to tenant to vacate property

Hi, New to all this so would like some advice. I have 2 tenants in my flat which I want out. They are about to reach the 6 month period thus ending the AST, can I simply write to them stating that I am serving them with a 2 month notice and that they must vacate the property?
